Work as a Priority in Preventing and Ending Homelessness as we Recover From The Pandemic

Understanding What Works

A panel discussion on how employment support can be effective in preventing homelessness.

In this event, we will be joined by representatives from Barclays and social enterprise Catch 22, who have collaborated to create the Barclays Connect to Work programme for people who have faced barriers into employment. We will also hear from Seb Barker on how Beam crowdfund employment training and support for people experiencing homelessness, and Tim Gray who will reflect on the evidence base around employment in preventing and ending homelessness. Through this lens, we will discuss how employment support can be effective in preventing homelessness.
