In this session chaired by Dr Triin Edovald, Head of Evaluation at the Education Endowment Foundation, we will be joined by Michael Sanders, Executive Director of the What Works Center for Children's Social Care, as well as experts by experience to explore how trials are being used to determine which interventions are most effective in supporting vulnerable children.

Michael Sanders is the Chief Executive of What Works for Children’s Social Care

Casey Armstrong is a care leaver who now works both locally and nationally as an advocate for care experienced people and mental health.

Dr Triin Edovald is Head of Evaluation at the Education Endowment Foundation

Jen Sebright is a social work practioner for Leeds City Council.
