Understanding What Works

This session will explore the intersection between women's homelessness, domestic abuse and women's experiences of the justice and housing systems. Join us to discuss what the evidence tells us about how best to respond now and post pandemic to help ensure women are helped more effectively.

Alison Inman is former President of the Chartered Institute of Housing and co-founder of SHOUT, the social housing campaign.

Kelly Henderson is the co-founder of the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance.

Amanda Hailes is a founding member of Untold Story Hull, a peer-researcher for AVA and Agenda, and a campaigner for women facing marginalisation

Lucy Baldwin FHEA FRSA. MA.  Dip SW. BA (Hons) is a Senior lecturer in Criminology based in the Community & Criminal Justice Division, located within the Health and Life Sciences faculty of De Montfort University

Elisa Vasquez-Walters is a Resettlement Officer working for Essex Community Rehabilitation Company
