Understanding What Works

With COVID-19 set to cause a significant rise in the number of people experiencing poverty, it's more important than ever to ensure we have enough quality, affordable homes in the right places. This session will explore how we can scale ongoing efforts so that more people on low incomes can access and remain in affordable and decent homes faster.

Gavin Smart is chief executive at the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Ken Gibb is Director of the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence.

Eoin O'Sullivan is a Fellow of Trinity College Dublin, Professor in Social Policy and was Head of the School of Social Work and Social Policy between 2011-2018. He is also a member of the European Observatory on Homelessness and editor of the European Journal of Homelessness since 2009.

Meera Chindooroy is Deputy Director of Campaigns, Public Affairs & Policy at the NRLA

Brenda Rosen is President and CEO of Breaking Ground.
