Much of the focus in government on the “levelling up” agenda is on investment and opportunity in post-industrial communities. Many residents in such places feel they have not shared fairly in the benefits of economic growth. Homelessness in towns and rural communities is often hidden. Rural and geographically remote communities face similar challenges. How can we ensure homelessness is not overlooked?
